nchcoat von Burberry geschmückt. :)
Ein bisschen weiter hat Jonathan Saunders gedacht, der mit seinem holographic look stark trendverdächtig ist und im Gegensatz zum metallic look ein noch besonderes Farbenspiel kreiert. Top!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Berliner Art Week

I'm in Berlin bitch! 

Vor 4 Wochen hergezogen und schon sehr viel Kunst und Kultur in der kreativsten Stadt Deutschland erlebt.
Überall ist Kunst!  Contemporary Art wird ganz groß geschrieben und es gibt sehr viele unbekannte, junge Künstler. Nicht nur die Gallerien sind beeindruckend, es gibt auch sehr viele kleine Boutiquen, in der man klasse Vintage ( ja das Wort ist ausgelutscht, aber man findet teilweise echte Schmuckstücke ;) ) Stücke findet. Beste Secondhandkette in Berlin: http://www.kleidermarkt.de/html/fil-ber-fried.html ..riesige Stores mit günstigen Preisen. ( was bei secondhand gar nicht mehr so verständlich ist)

Die erste Ausstellung, auf die ich gegangen bin , war die hundert Jahre Modefotografieausstellung.. Bin eigentlich kein allzu großer Fan von Fotografiekunst, aber es war unglaublich, wie man mit jedem Foto in eine andere Zeit eingetaucht ist und wie viele Fotografen durch ihr Kunst immer wieder Leute empört und so   durch ihre Fotos Weltbilder nachhaltig geprägt oder verändert haben.

Angefangen mit George Hoyningen-Huene, der durch seine gradlinig angeordeten Bilder eine schöne klare Bildkomposition geschaffen hat, aber mit Inspiration für den Betrachter eher geizt.

Erwin Blumenfeld

Erwin Blumenfeld ist da schon eher my cup of tea.
Er spielt mit Formen, Farben, Licht/Schatten.
Langsam tut sich was. Die Modefotografie zwängt sich aus alten Normen und will als anerkannte Kunstform gelten..
Was sich eindeutig durch Künstler wie Helmut Newton durch die Enttaburisierung von Sexualität und der Thematisierung von dem puren, reinen Körpers, ohne Schnickschnack und ohne überflüssige Klamotten!
                

Die mögliche Folge von all dem Fitnesswahn der 70'er 80'er 90'er. Hans Feurers

Thematisiert nicht nur Mode sondern auch Politik: Clifford Coffin, hier : sehr ästhetisch aber dennoch leer und trostlos, das Bild einer Wüste als Reaktion auf die Zündung der ersten Atombombe 1949.

Heey there!
Long time ago I wrote a post.
Wuuuuhuuu Spring time has just begun! Just the right time to present you my new DIY-project. As usual it's very simple to do. ;)

Okay so you just take the studs ( you'll find them in any art-store) and iron them on your collar.

I just cut the collar off from a blouse, which I was about to throw away anyway.

That are the two steps this DIY requieres and it takes about 10 minutes to do it. :)

You can wear it on partys, or whenever you feel like adding a glamorous touch to your Outfit! 

Gina Tricot !

Hey everybody,
Yesterday I went to our beautiful capital D-dorf !! :) I was busy in the morning but  I used the afternoon for a huuuge shopping tour !  I found some cute little shops beside the " Kö", including one store, which is acutally a huge label but I've never heard of it before, called "Gina Tricot". The shop didn't look that attractive to me, nevertheless I entered it. What I first saw, were the beautiful accessories they had. Individual, little rings, chains which were all very extraordinary. So I checked out their online store :

Look of the day! Jeans shirt under sweater

How to colour,bleach and pimp your Jeans! Step by step instructions

First buy the textilecolour (I used "Herbstrot" by simplicol) and colour your jeans as it is described in the instructions.

Your jeans will look like this after couple of hours.




Now take out these items:




<---- Bleacher

<---- Aerosol

and treat your Jeans ( they've got to be damp). Repeat this until the Jeans got the colour you want. 

!BUT BE CAREFUL!: You've got to dry your Jeans to see the final result so be thrifty with the bleacher.

I bought some very nice Pyramid studs...

and fixed them on the back..it's quite easy ,see

I added some holes.. That's very easy. Just make a cut ( use a knife with a smooth blade) and pull out every single string.

as you see my studs finally arrived..yeei! So thats how my Jeans look until now. 

I pretty much like this colour, but in case they appear to girly-like I want them to look more "destroyed" and I hope the studs gon' help me to let them look more punky!

Oops same idea at the same time, huh ? Diane von Fürstenberg (left) and Rodarte both showed a new Look at the NY Fashionweek for Fall 2012..


Wait.. New? Nope comme des garcons convinced with these handprint look already in 2007.

...I mean it is in fact VERY possible that two designers have the same vision in the exact same moment....as if! the question is, who has spied out whom in this case? ;)


But who cares anyway? I like Diane von Fürstenberg's interpretation of this handprinting look! black&white&red, a combination that never fails! combining it with those very cool leather gloves and the transparent fabric on the neckline... just adorable !




Oscar de la Renta- for NY-Fashionweek 2012


Oscar de la Renta knows the secret wishes of a woman of the 21.century. We want to be treated like a princess! I'm sure we feel reminded of the good old days, wearing these cute dresses with jewellry prints! :)

                                                    

Marc Jacobs- Clash of styles


This design is actually very brave. Marc Jacobs refuses to comply with any trend and brings out the 90's Run D.M.C hats. That could have been a trend, (I mean the fake fur is a bit too much, but the cut is definitely wearable). But if you look downwards, you'll find  more suprises waiting for you. The collar of the coat, kind of appears like a stole, over another
coat. Combining it with grannie's tablecloth, using it as a dress and complete the clash of styles with a capri panty and 18th. century Rokoko-style shoes.
You can't even decide where to look first.... I personally think, that is what fashion is all about! It's not about running after trends ,but about expressing yourself in you clothes. 


What M. Jacobs might have felt or thought , when creating this design?! ;)

Cosmic print shirt ! super easy DIY

Okay so that I have some bleach left from the jeans-shorts , I got inspired to do my own cosmic print T-shirt,
It's very easy to do but looks very impressive.

All you need is:

• bleach
• paintbrush 
• something to spray the bleach on the tshirt (aerosol)
• optionally: white fabric-color

first step: Take out the items you need for designing your shirt

second step: bleach the t-shirt . First rough flecks...

....Then add some strokes with the brush

...And use your aerosol to treat the t-shirt on larger areas.

Now use the textile-pen to add the details 

...me wearing the shirt ;) ( I cut off the sleeves and the neckline along the seams)

ps: If you want to add and extra special touch to you shirt, why don't you cut it on the back like I showed you in my "cutted shirt" tutorial
